The Presbyterian Young People's Society (PYPS) is a fantastic organization that brings youth of the ages 14 to 25 together to worship, learn, and play. PYPS provides great events for young people - created by young people. There are three or four weekend retreats (and one day events) packed with guest speakers, music, fun activities, and fellowship. It’s something you definitely want to be a part of!
We are a ministry of the Synod of Southwestern Ontario (The Presbyterian Church in Canada).

our executive
Our executive team is made up of eight young people. Each year during the Victoria long weekend also known as May Camp, participants vote for the new executive as well as current executive that are either moving on to new roles or remaining in their current ones. Each role is tailored to each persons strengths. Being apart of this executive is an amazing experience.
Adult Advisors
The Presbyterian Young People's Society has two different types of Adult Advisors, some are appointed by Synod and other are asked by the executive team for support. Each advisor brings a different skill set to the executive while also being chaperones at each event. Each adult advisor attends meetings that are held by the executive and guide the executive to make sure that they achieve their goals each year.
PARTICIPANTS
Participants can expect to meet new people, sing, play games, and grow their faith in God.
